Neutrosancork
Neutrosancork is the result of 35 years of experience in cork’s production. This process, exclusive property of our company and patent pending, eliminates almost all bacteria, spores and molds and enable the extraction of all the aromatic molecules, especially the TCA molecule responsible for the wine flaw. The process of sanitizing starts with a wash of the corks by immersion, combined with a system of extraction of the odorous molecules in a vapor stream accompanied by a continuous flow of hot air. The steam airflow is injected into the chamber, where the corks are in rotation, at the same temperature measured inside the drum. The washing system, integrated with the airflow, which enters in the chamber at a constant pressure, allows extracting, therefore volatilizing and detaching, the TCA and the various odorous molecules from the cork fabrics, and expelling them from the chamber through suction. The system is completely managed electronically in order to control the warmth and the steam according to the structure of the cork. Neutrosancork differs from other systems whose steam extraction process could cause breakage of the elastic-mechanical structure of the cork, leading to serious sealing problems due to a very low elastic return, which does not allow the hermetic closure. The results of our sanitizing system are:
Significant reduction in wine contamination
Excellent wine protection, ensuring a perfect preservation
Ecological Sanitizing
No residue of chemical products
