Intersugheri is a family company founded in the early 80's, thanks to the idea of two brothers, Giovanni and Mario Mariotti. At that time, the production was mainly addressed to wholesalers who were in charge of the direct sale to the wineries. The company was able to enter the market becoming the main supplier of the major Italian retailers leaders in the field. Over the years, Intersugheri has decided to make available directly to the wineries its expertise about cork. The new generation of the family is now managing the company and Intersugheri is going through an important period of renewal and growth towards new markets both nationally and internationally. The small, artisan size of the company is its added value. Every stage of the production process, from the cork extraction in the forests to the customization of the stoppers, is monitored by the property in order to offer a service and a product of the highest level, without forgetting the new technologies and the current needs of the market. The goal of the company is to combine the experience and tradition of the past with the demand of innovation of the present.
